About this course
Course Snapshot
The Online Academic Bootcamps are designed to assist students to:
- gain a distinct advantage
- improve exam confidence
- learn valuable study tips and tricks
- reviese and consolidate subject knowledge
- prepare for tertiary study
- learn from different teachers and various teaching styles
Through participation in the Physics bootcamp you will revise and consolidate:
- Unit 3: Gravity and electromagnetism
- Topic 1 - Gravity and motion; Vectors; Projectile motion; Inclined planes; Circular motion; Gravitational force and fields; Orbits
- Topic 2 - Electromagnetism; Electrostatics; Magnetic field; Electromagnetic induction; Electromagnetic radiation
- Unit 4: Revolutions in modern physics
- Topic 1 - Special relativity
- Topic 2 - Quantum Theory; Young's double-slit experiment; Black-body radiation; Photoelectric effect; Bohr model and Line spectra
- Topic 3 - The Standard Model - particle interactions
- Practice External Exam Questions
This course is particularly suitable for Queensland Year 12 students studying Physics and/or Students preparing for external examinations.

Each day will be structured as follows:
- 9am - 9:15am Diagnostic Quiz
- 9:15 - 11am Session 1
- 11 - 11:20am Break
- 11:20 - 1pm Session 2
- 1 - 1:30pm Lunch
- 1:30 - 2:45pm Session 3
- 2:45 - 3pm Diagnostic Quiz
Hanna Naghavi
Hanna is a teacher specialising in Physics, Specialist Mathematics and mathematical methods, with over nine years of experience. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Telecommunication Engineering and a Masters degree in information technology from QUT, Hanna's educational background is complimented by 11 years of industry experience as an engineer in the broadcast sector.
Bradley Steele
Bradley is a Science and Mathematics teacher focusing on years 11 & 12 Physics and Specialist Mathematics, over the last 5 years he has also worked with QCAA in various aspects around the Physics curriculum and assessment.
