This course is designed for senior health leaders, executives, and accountable officers working in Hospital in the Home (HITH). It is particularly suited to those responsible for service design, expansion, optimisation, and cross-organisational leadership. Participants should have leadership experience and bring a current service challenge to work on during the program.
Participants who complete the course will receive a Griffith University Certificate of Completion and may be eligible for continuing professional development (CPD) recognition, depending on their professional body.
Join us for a highly interactive, full-day face-to-face workshop exploring the strategy, leadership and practical realities of Hospital in the Home (HITH).
Across the day, you’ll discover how HITH has evolved, the evidence underpinning contemporary models of care, and the financial, technological, workforce and governance considerations shaping its future.
Drawing on Australian and international experience, the workshop will tackle the real-world challenges of designing, leading and scaling HITH services, from navigating organisational culture and executive support to building sustainable models capable of delivering increasingly complex care.
The day culminates in an interactive panel discussion where participants bring forward their own HITH challenges and work with experienced leaders to explore practical solutions.
